Maybe, due to the less chance of eye strain, but I am afriad, that the DS will be a laptop with a Wii in it.

a 3ds will have: better wifi,a stylus slot in the back,a screen that turns a game into a 3d game,it can take videos up to 15 minutes long,uniique shape and design,longer battery life,and etc. it's rumored to be out in 2011 or 2012 depending on productivity.
